 The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) is India's premier medical entrance examination, serving as the gateway for aspirants aiming to pursue undergraduate medical and dental courses such as MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BHMS, and others. Conducted annually by the National Testing Agency (NTA), NEET is a pivotal step for students seeking admission to esteemed medical institutions across the country.

NEET 2025: An Overview

As of now, the official notification for NEET 2025 is awaited. However, based on historical patterns and available information, we can anticipate the following schedule:


- Release of Information Bulletin: Expected in the first week of February 2025.

- Commencement of Online Registration: Anticipated to begin in February 2025.

- Last Date for Registration: Tentatively in March 2025.

- Correction Window: Likely to be available in March 2025.

- Admit Card Release:Expected in April 2025.

- NEET 2025 Examination Date: Tentatively scheduled for May 4, 2025.

- Result Declaration:Projected for June 2025.

Please note that these dates are provisional and subject to change upon official announcements by the NTA.

Eligibility Criteria for NEET 2025

Before proceeding with the application, candidates must ensure they meet the following eligibility requirements:

1. Age Limit:

   - Minimum Age:Candidates should be at least 17 years old as of December 31, 2025.

   - Maximum Age: There is currently no upper age limit for NEET as per recent guidelines.

2. Educational Qualifications:

   - Must have completed or be appearing for the 10+2 examination or its equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English as core subjects from a recognized board.

  - Minimum Marks:

  - General Category: A minimum aggregate of 50% in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Biotechnology. 

 - SC/ST/OBC-NCL: A minimum aggregate of 40% in the same subjects.

 - PwBD Candidates: A minimum aggregate of 45% in the same subjects.

3. Nationality:

 - Indian Nationals, Non-Resident Indians (NRIs), Overseas Citizens of India (OCI), Persons of Indian Origin (PIO), and Foreign Nationals are eligible to apply.

NEET 2025 Application Process

The application process for NEET 2025 is expected to be conducted online. Candidates should follow these steps:


1. Registration:

 - Visit the official NEET website: [neet.nta.nic.in]

 - Click on the "New Registration" link and provide the required details to generate a unique application number and password.

2. Filling the Application Form:

   - Log in using the application number and password.

   - Complete the application form by entering personal, academic, and contact details accurately.

3. Uploading Documents:

   - Upload scanned images of the following:

   - Passport-sized Photograph: Recent, colored, with a white background.

  - Signature: On a white paper with a black ink pen.

  - Left and Right Hand Fingers and Thumb Impression: As per specifications.

  - Category Certificate (if applicable): For candidates claiming reservation.

  - PwBD Certificate (if applicable): For candidates claiming disability reservation.

4. Payment of Application Fee:

   - Pay the application fee online using Debit Card, Credit Card, Net Banking, or UPI.

 - Fee Structure:

 - General: INR 1,700/-

 - General-EWS/OBC-NCL: INR 1,600/- 

 - SC/ST/PwBD/Third Gender:INR 1,000/-

 - Outside India: INR 9,500/-

5. Confirmation Page:

- After successful payment, a confirmation page will be generated.

 - Download and print the confirmation page for future reference.

Important Considerations:

- Correction Facility: NTA usually provides a correction window after the application process concludes, allowing candidates to rectify specific details in their application form. However, not all fields may be editable, so it's crucial to fill out the form carefully.

- Admit Card: The admit card will be released on the official website. Candidates must download and print it, as it is mandatory to carry the admit card to the examination center along with a valid photo ID.

- Examination Details:

 - Mode of Exam: Offline (Pen and Paper-based).

 - Duration: 3 hours and 20 minutes.

  - Subjects: Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (Botany and Zoology).

  - Total Questions: 200 (180 to be attempted).

  - Marking Scheme: +4 for each correct answer, -1 for each incorrect answer.

Preparation Tips for NEET 2025

1. Understand the Syllabus:

   - Familiarize yourself with the NEET 2025 syllabus, which covers topics from Classes 11 and 12 in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.

2. Create a Study Plan:
